I do not communicate by yelling.
Dec. 22nd, 2006 04:22 pmPretty much ever. I consider it disrespectful and utterly, if not totally, counter-productive. If I'm really, really angry, I will usually suss it out in a snarky rant with friends and then approach the object de' ire in a very calm even voice. I do not yell.
However, my roommate does. Not at me, but with her boyfriend, her child and currently, her parents.
It's very, very, very disconcerting.
Especially since I'm super duper exhausted (fatigued in a way that rivals most of the other all-time-tired states I've endured in my life) and would like to nap. This week I will have worked almost 70 hours. I'm very, very, very tired and I don't think a ham is worth yelling over, let alone losing sleep for.
*sigh*
And I'd write more about my life, but right now, I sound goofy and drugged up. Fatigue is good for humor but not so great for communication.
And now, I sleep?
