Year In Review--The Fives
Dec. 20th, 2006 12:01 amFive things that 2006 taught me:
1) That changing where you are doesn't necessarily change who you are (this is both a blessing and a curse).
2) I am more capable and intelligent than I'd ever suspected.
3) I am loved.
4) I am my own worst enemy.
5) I am much more nurturing than I ever imagined.
Five personally significant events of 2006:
1) Adding Peanut to the family!
2) Moving to Portland.
3) Starting Grad School.
4) Quitting my jobs.
5) Setting a record for dating (this has actually been a pretty busy year).
Five things I want to do in 2007:
1) Get more invovled in community organizations.
2) Get *one* job that I enjoy and that will pay a living wage.
3) Start attending classes full-time.
4) Get Oregon residency
5) Be a better friend.
Five things I don't want to do in 2007:
1) Go into debt
2) Gain weight
3) Drop out off school
4) Stay in an unsatisfying job
5) Succumb to the winter blahs.
Five people who I'd like to know better in 2007:
1) My roommates
2) My classmates
3) The individuals involved in City Repair
4) Fantastic Portland people I have not met
5) Dana's crew.
