For the first time in my life, I was politically astute. Every single one of the gubernator's props failed. In fact,
all of the props failed, which does my direct-initiative-hatin' heart good. I literally cheered when I heard NPR tick off the election results. Unfortunately, I had to hold in my glee at the "bad" work, lest I annoy my very Republican boss who campaigned on behalf of the initiatives.
I went to good work early. Not a little bit early, but two hours early. This felt good. AM isn't such a terrible thing after all.
Go Girl energy drink has finally landed and I am swimming in its pink caffeineted goodness! This pleases me. I can't wait to mix it with Vodka and pineapple juice to get a "Dirty Girl."
I am *almost* done with a dreaded task.
I had the pleasure of hanging out with
kalliste and Baby X, who is officially the cutest, sweetest, jolliest small person ever. Her older sister wins for crazy hair and pie-rat talk, but I think Baby X has my heart. Well done kalliste!
I'm dancing and carousing with G-dawg in San Francisco this weekend. I plan to have fun while I can still afford it, money is about to become very, very tight.
I bought truly delicious produce today. I'm the
very happy owner of some Honey Crisp Apples and Comisce Pears. This also pleases me.
And now I'm spent.
Hope you are all well.
