Jul. 23rd, 2003 10:12 pmWow....Xannax.
I went to the doctor's office this afternoon because I've been short of breath for the past two days. Eeep. We ruled out asthma, allergies, blood pressure, and poor air quality...leaving two options--stress or a blood clot. The good doctor gave me some happy pills and told me that if those didn't work, that I would have to go to the ER tomorrow morning to rule out the possibility of a blood clot in my lungs. Well, I'm happy but still gasping. Argh. If they don't find a blood clot (which I doubt they will), they're going to send me off with an inhaler and a big fat question mark. Double argh.
I have so much to do at work tomorrow, I'm contemplating ignoring the doc's advice. I'm going to get up at 5am and play it by ear.
D and I talked until 4am last night trying to come to some sort of a truce. We succeeded, but we both felt rather battered in the process.
I'm watching Frida tonight, but I just can't get into it.
Bleck...
I'm going to pop another Xannax, call it a night, and hope for better breathing.
