My boss is crazy...Part 29809809809

Today's conversation about Thanksgiving.

Boss: I didn't know that you wanted Friday off.
Me: Yes, well, I put in a written request two months ago.
Boss: *waves my note* This one?
Me: Yes
Boss: *points to where it says Nov. 24-25* It doesn't say day off.
Me: Yes, but it's on a larger piece of paper that only refers to days off. Why would I write that down otherwise?
Boss: It wasn't clear.
Me: I thought it was quite clear.
Boss: No, next time you need to put an arrow right next to the date and write DAY OFF
Me: Even on a sheet specifically requesting days off?
Boss: YES. *huffs off*
Me: Oooooooooooookay.

Big News

Um, I quit my job today.

So yeah, that's pretty big news.

And I got home to find that I was denied individual health benefits. Awesome.

I'm a little nervous right now. I guess I just have to do that whole "trust in the universe" thing.
