Still no working computer...
Oct. 24th, 2004 01:23 pmI'm bad; it's still broken. It's sorry state is more a consequence of my laziness than it's inherent "brokeness." I just can't get motivated to fix it. Without my computer I read more, write more (actual letters to others instead of entries to myself), and socialize more (as if it were possible). Checklists get checked-off and the dishes are always done. I multitask less and enjoy my time at home more. I miss LJ and email, but not the time suck of the laptop. In a way, it's been a blessing.
*sighs*
Life goes on...things are very busy these days. October, aka known as the month of Libras, has been filled with parties and events. I'm working on an arts grant from the city, brainstorming for the cinema draft house, researching grad programs, tearing through urban planning books, working ALL the time, looking for a new job, and toiling away on a few personal projects. I'm now also escorting for two clinics and have started going to church (the Unitarian Universalist church--don't worry, I haven't converted). Life is good if hectic and a little scary at times.
I hope you are all well.
Cheers!
Laura
