"It's clear that I have a problem"

Those were the last words that I said to the Starbucks barrista before I scurried out with my Venti Nonfat Mocha with whip. I scraped together all the credit on my Starbucks card and the cash in my ashtray in order to get out of there with the Big Boy Mocha. It's pathetic...the girl behind the counter looked at me with a mixture of amusement and pity---I'm a junkie. And truth be told, I'd mainline the shit if I could. I blame the time change, but really I know that it's my dark Starbucks-lovin' heart that leads me to the depths of this depravity.

On that note, I AM SO TIRED. Time change + staying up to celebrate Heidi's 30TH BIRTHDAY = a very tired girl. I also have to work a double shift today, so woe is me. Comfort and caffeine will be accepted in spades. Gah.

Last night was fun--although I felt a bit out of sorts, it was lovely to spend time with my friends. I have unique talent in that I've always been able to surround myself with fabulous people--it's been my saving grace throughout much of my life. Things would be unbearable if I didn't have such good friends. I'm blessed and it's very very good.

I straightened out my phone situation, got my SMUD account set up and am in good stead with everyone but my credit cards (actually two of my credit cards are happy with me, three are not). Things are looking up--if I could only wake up.

PS The Enlightenment Smoothies from Jamba Juice are to be avoided. It's like 24 ounces of blah with protein.

I had a long talk with dear old Dan and it made me feel better. Things are cleared up. All is well with the world.

I should be working on my resume right now, but I refuse for absolutely no good reason.
