Mar. 27th, 2004 08:40 pmThank to
mistermocha I'm passing this on.
I just received this email from a friend and am compelled to put it out there. Depending on your politics, you will decide what you should do. I am passing it on to you. Do with it what you think you should.
Dear All,
You may have heard that Blair and Bush are being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. When I first heard about it, I thought it was a bad joke. Alas, it's not a joke, folks. The website listed at the bottom is hosting a petition you can sign to protest this farce. To nominate either man, let along give this worthy prize to them, would not only nullify the awards validity, it would likewise be an insult to all previous future recipients.
Please pass this on to as many people as possible.
Also, here are news articles regarding the nomination:
BBC News:http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/3449933.stm
ABC News: http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/s1035353.htm
And here is what you can do about it:
