I'm watching Under the Tuscan Sun and while I appreciate it for it's sweeping Tuscan views and pretty, pretty people, I feel like I should let people know that there's a better "divorcee escape to Italy" book out there called An Italian Affair. The writing is better and the author reveals a little more vulnerability. I highly recommend it. Ironically, my boss (the publisher) turned me onto it. It's his token "I'm a sensitive guy" book that he lends to girlfriends.
